How NIS2Compass content is created, reviewed and kept up to date.
NIS2Compass content — blog, glossary, Knowledge Hub and templates — is created and reviewed by the NIS2Compass team. The team brings hands-on experience from cybersecurity consulting and information security, translating the requirements of the German NIS2 implementation act (NIS2UmsuCG) for IT managers and information security officers in mid-sized companies.
Every article is based on legal texts (BSIG, NIS2 Directive) and publications by BSI, ENISA and the EU Commission. Secondary sources are checked against the originals.
Every article carries a last-updated date. When legislation or administrative practice changes, affected content is revised.
We do not quote fictitious experts and do not invent statistics. Figures and quotes come from named, verifiable sources.
Every Word and Excel template includes a version, its legal reference (§30 BSIG) and a liability note — so it stays traceable what a document is based on.
Statements about obligations cite the specific provision (§30, §32, §38 BSIG) so you can verify every requirement yourself.
